The governor of Florida and a member of the Republican Party Ronald DeSantis could easily defeat the current U.S. President Joe Biden in the elections of 2024, Tesla CEO Elon Musk wrote this on Twitter.

"If DeSantis runs against Biden in 2024, then DeSantis will easily win – he doesn’t even need to campaign," Musk wrote.

At the same time, the billionaire negatively assessed former U.S. President Donald Trump's involvement in the upcoming election.

"Trump would be 82 at end of term, which is too old to be chief executive of anything, let alone the United States of America," Musk said.

In June, Joe Biden commented on critical statements by Tesla and SpaceX CEO Musk about himself. The billionaire had repeatedly rebuked the head of state that because of his actions the U.S. economy would collapse.

According to the American leader, while Musk was talking about flights to the moon, Ford was increasing investments, the former Chrysler Corporation, now Stellantis, was also increasing investments into electric cars. Biden jokingly wished the American entrepreneur good luck in this endeavor.
