Iranian Foreign Ministry spokesman Nasser Kanaani at a news conference refuted the US allegations concerning the possible transfer of Iranian drones to Russia, noting that the cooperation in this field has not seen any special development recently.

“The history of cooperation between Russia and Iran in the field of a number of modern technologies dates back to the pre-war period in Ukraine, and there has not been much development of cooperation in this area recently,” Kanaani said, whose words were published on the Telegram channel of the Iranian Foreign Ministry.

He noted that Iran's position on the crisis in Ukraine is quite clear and has been repeatedly stated. The Iranian diplomat added that “for years have been turning the occupying and aggressor countries, including those located in the region of Western Asia, into a warehouse of their various deadly weapons.”

Earlier, Assistant to the US President for National Security Jake Sullivan stated that Iran was allegedly preparing to transfer unmanned aerial vehicles to Russia, without explaining where the US got such information and without giving any evidence.
