YEREVAN. – Armenian First Aid service receives 13-14 thousand calls monthly. On daily basis this makes 500 calls, about 80-100 of which require hospitalization of the patients, said the director of First Aid service Taguhi Stepanyan on Wednesday.

She mentioned that in July 2011 the service has received 28 alerts of sunstroke, while the figure for last July was 17. August 2011 saw 16 cases of sunstroke, in contrast to the 4 cases in last August.
