Azerbaijani army serviceman Ruslan Manafzade died at about 11pm on Wednesday, as a result of a fire from an automatic weapon, said press service of the Prosecutor General's Office of Azerbaijan, and in response to APA's query.
The Military Prosecutor's Office has been opened a criminal case into this incident.
An investigation is underway.
