Huawei has resumed supplies of smartphones and other gadgets to Russia, a source close to the company, a partner of several electronics manufacturers, told Izvestia.

The resumption of shipments of goods to Russia on the same day was reported in his Telegram channel by Eldar Murtazin, a leading analyst at Mobile Research Group. He noted that Huawei products have been appearing on the company's website for two weeks, as well as at partners.

Huawei representatives are not commenting on the situation.

At the beginning of June, the company announced the closure of its official outlets in Russia. Initially, only four out of 19 stores of the manufacturer stopped their work. This decision was explained by the lack of gadgets of the Chinese brand in Russian warehouses and spare parts.

In particular, the company's Moscow ASC on Sukharevskaya reported that the main problem was a shortage of batteries and screens, as all spare parts could only be delivered to order. Authorized dealers in Ryazan and Kaluga responded similarly.

Meanwhile, according to smartphone sellers, demand for the products of Chinese electronics manufacturers in the Russian market has increased markedly. Now these products occupy two-thirds of the Russian market.

According to experts, the expansion of Chinese devices occurs against the backdrop of the cessation of sales in Russia of Apple and Samsung gadgets, the share of which in the segment of "smart" phones has decreased markedly.

Thus, Xiaomi took the first place in sales of smartphones in Russia in the II quarter of 2022, pushing Samsung to second place, according to MTS. Other Chinese manufacturers are also strengthening their positions. For example, the share of Realme has increased from 8.3% to 13%, writes MK.
