Toivo Klaar, the European Union (EU) Special Representative for the South Caucasus and the Crisis in Georgia, on Friday stated that the EU supports the bilateral decision of Armenia and Azerbaijan to hold a meeting of their foreign ministers on Saturday.

“Excellent meetings today with Azerbaijan President Ilham Aliyev, FM Jeyhun Bayramov, and Deputy PM [Shahin] Mustafayev. Assessed state of play of peace process. Also expressed the EU support to Armenia and Azerbaijan bilateral decision to hold FMs meeting in Georgia tomorrow,” Klaar wrote on Twitter.
