YEREVAN. - The sharp decline in flour prices in international market finally influenced on Armenia, as the flour price went down last week.

A 20kg sack of flour is sold for AMD 9750, which is by 20 percent cheaper than one month ago. However, that has not led to reduction of bread prices.

There have been decline in flour prices in international market from the late June. According to the Russian press, a ton of the third grade flour was sold for RR 5125 (about $178) in the Black Sea ports on Tuesday. At the same time, flour importers can purchase it much cheaper directly from the farmers.
