US Defense Secretary Lloyd Austin has announced a “critical phase” of the conflict in Ukraine.
"You know, this is a critical phase of the conflict. And so our collective support for Ukraine is vital—and urgent," he said in his opening remarks at the Fourth Ukraine Defense Contact Group.
Also, Austin recalled that the US has “committed more than $2.6 billion in security assistance to Ukraine” ever since the aforesaid contact group’s meeting in Brussels until now.
