At least 20 people have been killed in floods caused by heavy rains that wreaked chaos in Iran's southwestern province of Fars, Iran Front Page reported.
Governor Yousef Kargar of the city of Estahban said Saturday that the flooding occurred after the Rudbal River burst its banks a day earlier due to heavy rains.
Specialized rescue teams were quickly dispatched to the affected areas.
The governor said six people were still missing and 55 others had been rescued.
