STEPANAKERT. - President of the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) Republic (NKR) Bako Sahakyan met with French MPs, members of the Union for a Popular Movement Guy Tesie, Jacques Remile, Georges Colombier and Valerie Boyer.
The sides discussed issues concerning the current state and prospects of bilateral relations, NKR president press service informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
President Sahakyan noted the important role of France in maintaining peace and stability in the region, praising the work of French co-chair of OSCE Minsk Group on Karabakh conflict resolution.
In the context of bilateral relations Bako Sahakyan stressed the need to enhance inter-parliamentary relations, noting Artsakh’s particular interest in this issue. Both sides emphasized the importance of further cooperation and development of specific programs in this direction.
