The position of the Baltic States, which want to suspend the issuance of visas to Russians, is unlikely to find followers across Europe, Polish Deputy Foreign Minister Piotr Wawrzyk said, noting that Warsaw is in favor of imposing these restrictions.

"This is not Putin's war, because Putin is not at war, Russians are at war, but if their families don't understand that, if their loved ones are not able to understand what is happening in Ukraine, then I think they should face the consequences too. If Putin didn't have public support, he probably wouldn't be fighting this war. He is very sensitive to how the Russians themselves assess his policies," he says, reports "Polish Radio.

The Germans have already announced that the decision to suspend visas to the Russians would not be taken. Wawrzyk said that for Germany, "the issue of morality is not as important as the possibility of doing business with Russia.
