From September, the Resistance Movement will start the fight with great momentum, there will be changes in the tactics; that is, we will not go down to holding marches, demonstrations, and protest actions on a daily basis, as it was in May. But this does not mean at all that we will not switch to that regime one day. Ishkhan Saghatelyan—an opposition MP, a member of the Supreme Body of the opposition Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party of Armenia, and coordinator of the opposition Resistance Movement—said this in an interview given to several local TV stations.

"We will enter that regime in a more organized, strengthened, expanded form. And after resolving the issues put before us, in order to prepare for a big battle, and for that we must do all the preparatory work. We have had major successes, and no matter how much they try to belittle them, it is obvious that the Resistance Movement has done an important job at this fateful stage in the history of the Armenian people," Saghatelyan added.

The opposition MP reminded that the next rally of the Resistance Movement is slated for September 2.

And when asked whether they will participate in the "Independence Movement" initiative announced by Edgar Ghazaryan—the former ambassador of Armenia to Poland and former head of the staff of the Constitutional Court of Armenia—within the framework of which Nikol Pashinyan shall no longer be the Prime Minister of Armenia as of September 21 at the latest, Saghatelyan said: "We have repeatedly said that we will support all those who will launch a struggle against these authorities. We will support the rally called by Edgar Ghazaryan on August 23; I will participate in it myself. I use this opportunity to call on our citizens to attend the rally."

To remind, Edgar Ghazaryan has announced the "Independence Movement," which shall start on August 23, the day of the adoption of the Declaration of Independence of Armenia, and end on September 21, the day of the declaration of independence of Armenia.

"That is, Nikol Pashinyan should not be the Prime Minister of Armenia by September 21 at the latest," Ghazaryan had said.
