Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan received a delegation headed by Russia's Omsk Region Governor Alexander Burkov today.
During the meeting, Pashinyan noted that the allied relations with the Russian Federation are developing dynamically, the press service of the Armenian government told NEWS.am. According to him, this is facilitated by regular mutual visits and active discussions between the representatives of the governments and regions of the two countries. The Prime Minister stressed that there is a clear agenda for the development of cooperation in economic, investment and other spheres and the two countries continue to cooperate closely in its implementation.
In his turn, Burkov said that the President of the Russian Federation has repeatedly stressed the importance of developing allied relations with Armenia and, therefore, they are interested in further expanding ties with the regions of our country. According to him, the interregional cooperation has a great potential for development.
Cooperation in the spheres of economy, trade, industry, aviation, education, culture etc. was highlighted as perspective.
The RA Prime Minister attached importance to the steps taken to develop the cooperation in the abovementioned spheres and mentioned the necessity of periodical contacts.
