Z. attempted to cross the state border of Armenia and enter Iran without the necessary documents and proper permission, bypassing the Meghri border checkpoint of Armenia, in the area guarded by the Russian border guards in Armenia, and passing the engineering and technical barrier.

A public criminal prosecution has been launched against this Iranian national, and he has been remanded in custody.
