The implementation of social and humanitarian projects is a priority direction within the framework of the Eurasian Economic Union (EEU). Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia stated this at Friday’s Eurasian Intergovernmental Council meeting in Kyrgyzstan.
According to him, the means of increasing economic growth are interconnected with the whole range of matters in education, health care, and social protection.
"In this regard, social and humanitarian projects between the EEU countries are brought to the fore," he added.
Also, Pashinyan welcomed the holding of the first youth forum of the EEU and the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS).
"In general, the Armenian side confirms its readiness to cooperate in the field of forming a shared agenda for improving the welfare of the citizens of the EEU countries," added the Armenian premier.
