A 20-year-old mother-to-be died Thursday in a Yerevan hospital, Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned from the Investigative Committee of Armenia.

She had been transferred to this medical center from the Vanadzor city hospital.

Criminal proceedings have been launched into this incident—and under the Criminal Code article on failure to perform or improper performance of professional duties by a medical worker.
