The parliamentary faction of the ruling party Civil Contract has not yet decided whether or not they will participate in the events scheduled for September 2 in Stepanakert on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic.

Ruling Party parliamentary group secretary Artur Hovhannisyan told NEWS.am that the parliamentary group did not have any special discussions on the matter.

Representatives of the parliamentary opposition said they would take part in the events dedicated to the 31st anniversary of the NKR proclamation.

"The Resistance Movement called a big rally on September 2 at the Place de France. At this moment, unfortunately, I cannot say who will go to Karabakh and who will stay in Yerevan. Nevertheless, we will be in Karabakh," said opposition Armenia Bloc MP Agnessa Khamoyan.

In his turn, the head of the parliamentary faction of the I Have Honor opposition bloc Hayk Mamijanyan, commenting on the invitation of the Karabakh National Assembly speaker, said that he and his colleagues will try to take part in the events planned for September 2 in Yerevan and Karabakh.

"I can't say who will be in Yerevan and who in Karabakh, but representatives of our parliamentary faction will be both in Yerevan and Stepanakert," Mamijanian assured.
