A grass covered area of about 30 hectares burned in the village of Sevkar in Tavush region.

Today, August 29, at 12:07 a.m., Tavush Regional Crisis Management Center received a signal that an area covered with grass was on fire near Sevkar village.

As the Ministry of Emergency Situations told NEWS.am, one combat team of the Fire and Rescue Squad of Regional Rescue Department of SS MES arrived at the scene of the accident.

It turned out that the fire broke out on the administrative territory of Sevkar village.

The fire was localized at 14:53 and extinguished at 16:49. An area of about 30 hectares covered with grass burned.
