The Lachin corridor has been closed to Armenians since 20:00.

Movement from Armenia to Artsakh will be arranged via a temporary, fully asphalted road that bypasses Akhavno and Berdzor and leads to Artsakh via the villages of the Berdadzor sub-district of Shushi.

The main road, which should go through Kornidzor in Armenia's Syunik region, will reportedly be ready by next spring.

Russian peacekeepers will first be stationed as a temporary road and later on the main road.

The Lachin corridor, as well as the settlements along it (Berdzor, Aghavno and Sus) came under Azerbaijani control on August 26.
