Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan of Armenia on Wednesday sent a congratulatory message to Prime Minister Narendra Modi of India, on the 30th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the two countries. The message reads as follows, in particular:
"It should be noted with satisfaction that the thousand-year-old ties between our peoples have received a new impetus, especially in the recent years. The best proof of this is the day by day growing and developing mutually beneficial cooperation in various fields. The political dialogue has been activated, the Armenian-Indian intergovernmental commission is working effectively, close cooperation has been formed in the fields of education, culture, information technology, defense, trade and economy and other fields.
Armenia highly appreciates the caring attitude of the Indian authorities towards the Armenian community, Armenian historical shrines and Armenian heritage.
I hope that by joint efforts we will achieve new success for the benefit of our friendly countries and peoples.
Armenia attaches great importance to friendly India's growing reputation in today's fast-changing world order, because peace-loving and democratic India can play a positive role in the fair solution of many problems facing the world and our regions.
Armenia, as before, is ready to assist friendly India on various international platforms."
