Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev met in Brussels under the mediation of European Council President Charles Michel.

During the meeting, the sides discussed issues related to the release of prisoners and determining the fate of missing persons, border demarcation and security, regional disengagement, the settlement of Armenian-Azerbaijani relations, as well as the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, the Armenian government press service informed NEWS.am.
 
An agreement was reached to continue substantive talks over the drafting of a peace treaty at the level of foreign ministers. The meeting of the foreign ministers of the two countries will be held within a month.

The next meeting of the members of the commissions on border demarcation and security between Armenia and Azerbaijan will be held in Brussels in November. And the next meeting in the leaders' format will be held in November.
