Deputy Minister of Justice of the Republic of Armenia Yeranuhi Tumanyants stated about it in the National Assembly at the sitting of the parliamentary standing committee on state-legal issues during the discussion of the package of bills on making amendments and addenda to the law "On Anti-Corruption Committee" and amendments to related laws on September 2.
Thus, in order to ensure the process of compensation for damage caused to the state and society as a result of criminal actions, as well as the return of funds obtained by criminal means in the shortest possible time, the Cabinet of Ministers proposed to create the necessary legal framework for the Anti-Corruption Committee. In the future it will allow the agency to create a deposit account.
