While the Investigative Committee of Armenia was preparing a report on the charges brought against Jalal Harutyunyan, the head of the Military Control Service of the Defense Ministry and commander of the Karabakh Defense Army during the 44-day war, the latter, together with Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, took part in a gala event dedicated to the evening of graduates of military educational institutions of the republic. 

The gala event was held on the territory of Vazgen Sargsyan Military University.

The Defense Ministry website published pictures showing Jalal Harutyunyan standing next to Suren Papikyan. After the Investigative Committee published the above-mentioned message, the photos were removed from the website.
