Former U.S. President Donald Trump called current President Joe Biden an "enemy of the state" at his first rally after the FBI searched his Mar-a-Lago mansion in Florida for classified material, the BBC reported.

Speaking to thousands of supporters in Wilkes-Barre, Pennsylvania, the former U.S. president accused Biden of using the FBI against him.

The raid was one of the most shocking abuses of power by any administration in American history, Donald Trump said.

He was in the state to promote two Republican candidates, Mehmet Oz and Doug Mastriano.

Dr. Mehmet Oz is running for U.S. Senate and State Senator Doug Mastriano is in the race for Pennsylvania's next governor.

Trump, 76, spent the first part of his nearly two-hour speech criticizing the FBI search, but then returned to the topic of the 2020 election, saying it was stolen from him, criticizing his rivals in the Democratic Party and promising to "save our country."
