YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, together with President Vahagn Khachaturyan, on Monday attended the festive event at the Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) of Armenia—and dedicated to the Emergency Worker's Day, the Prime Minister's Office informed Armenian News-NEWS.m.
The PM congratulated Armenia’s emergency workers on this holiday and wished them high professional skills, but as little work as possible.
In his address, Pashinyan noted, in particular, that emergency workers have a key role in the handling of emergencies in Armenia, and added that standards that meet modern requirements are needed in the country’s power structures.
Also on the occasion of the Emergency Worker's Day, Nikol Pashinyan awarded a group of emergency workers with the PM's commemorative medal—and for their impeccable work and dedication.
Then, the Prime Minister and the President watched the ceremonial march of the MES Rescue Service units and demonstration exercises of the MES Special Rescue Squad.
In addition, premier and the President watched the ceremony of registering two MES employees in the Guinness Book of Records.
