YEREVAN. – On Monday evening, mandatory conscript soldier, Junior Sergeant Arman Sargsyan (born in 2002) sustained a fatal gunshot wound in an Armenian combat position located in the eastern part of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone; and according to preliminary data, from a shot fired by Azerbaijan. Armenian News-NEWS.am has learned about this from the Ministry of Defense of Armenia.
Materials on this incident are being prepared at the garrison investigative department.
