The Ministry of Defense (MOD) of Azerbaijan on Tuesday disseminated another disinformation, claiming that the units of the Armenian Armed Forces opened fire Monday in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions located in the eastern part of the Armenia-Azerbaijan border zone. This was noted by spokesman Aram Torosyan of the MOD of Armenia.

"This way of working—on the basis of which is the dissemination of absolutely false information about the Armenian side's attempts to carry out aggressive actions and artificially aggravate the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border—cannot in any way contribute to the real stabilization of the border situation.

The units of the Armenian Armed Forces did not open fire in the direction of the Azerbaijani positions. Moreover, as we have already informed, Junior Sergeant Arman Sargsyan son of Gagik, a mandatory conscript soldier, sustained a fatal gunshot wound yesterday from a shot fired by the Azerbaijani side," added the spokesperson of the Armenian MOD.
