YEREVAN. – The Investigative Committee of Armenia has launched criminal proceedings into the murder of conscript soldier Arman Sargsyan, the Investigative Committee informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

According to preliminary information, at around 10:15pm on Monday, a soldier of the Azerbaijani armed forces fired shots toward a combat position in the security area of an Armenian military unit.

As a result, Arman Sargsyan, a mandatory conscript of the aforesaid military unit, sustained a fatal gunshot wound in the head.
