Deputies from the "Armenia" and "I Have Honor" blocs met with colleagues from Artsakh.

Vahe Hakobyan, a deputy from the "Armenia" bloc, said that a lot of questions were accumulated about Artsakh, about Aghavno, Berdzor and Sus, everybody is curious about what document was used to surrender these villages.

He recalled the refusal of the U.S. and French ambassadors to visit occupied Shushi, which led to "hysteria."

"But now no one has reacted to the fact that united Europe after the meeting in Brussels has not said a word about the principles of the Karabakh conflict settlement," Hakobyan noted.

The deputy accused the Armenian authorities, who washed their hands of Artsakh, of criminal inaction.

Hakobyan's associate Aram Vardevanyan, in turn, recalled how the ruling party Civil Contract did not show up at the June 3 meeting to discuss the statement of opposition factions.

"It was similar in content to the red lines presented before by the Artsakh parliament. And during the rally on this occasion, the authorities used flash-bang grenades against peaceful protesters," Vardevanian said.

He pointed to the inadmissibility of Artsakh's transfer to Azerbaijan.

"Artsakh's independence was achieved through the heroism and blood of our compatriots. The horror of the situation is that the authorities do not talk about it. Pashinyan doesn't speak about self-determination of Artsakh people, about its independence, but he speaks only about the rights and security of Artsakh people," he said.

Another deputy from "Armenia" bloc Gegham Manukyan stated that the former authorities for 30 years had relevant experience and knowledge about the Karabakh issue and they attached special importance to September 2, but during the last 4 years the current authorities constantly utter shameful statements. 

"In Pashinyan's last statement (in the message on the occasion of the 31st anniversary of the proclamation of the Republic of Artsakh - ed.) there is not a single word about the principle of self-determination of the people of Artsakh. Instead, the program of surrendering Artsakh, which lost political independence in 2018, to Azerbaijan is being implemented," he explained.

Tigran Abrahamyan, a deputy from the "I Have Honor" bloc, stressed that the current situation in Artsakh becomes even more complicated.

"During private meetings not a single official told me that Armenia is ready to ensure Artsakh's security in case of any development. In this case the question is how the organization of the works will be conducted in case of escalation. One gets the impression that there's no planning for the future in Artsakh either. Our problems are growing, the situation becomes more complicated and at the same time there is no work to adopt a strategy in different directions," Abrahamyan added.

Artsakh Parliament Speaker Artur Tovmasyan urged to listen to each other. "We must be very honest with each other and understand what awaits our people," he said.
