40 Diaspora Armenian specialists have completed their jobs in Armenia's public administration system and received certificates. They have been in their homeland for a year under the iGorts program for Armenian professionals from the Diaspora within the framework of the Armenian government system. The solemn closing of the program was attended by RA Chief Commissioner of Diaspora Issues Zareh Sinanyan, representatives of the government, the program participants' partners and others. Armenian experts from 14 countries worked at 19 state institutions in Armenia.

The iGorts participants implemented projects in the following spheres: science, economy and investment policy, environmental protection, social welfare, support and promotion of repatriation, study on demand for Diaspora bonds, development of digital economy and research on cryptocurrency, digitalization of public services, programs related to road safety, effective management of water resources, the education system, improvement of primary health care, protection of human rights, development of the film industry and more.

In his speech, the chief commissioner emphasized the components of the program: professional repatriation, ensuring the involvement of diaspora potential in the state system. "More than 70 percent of iGorts participants stay in Armenia, which speaks for the effectiveness of the program. Some of them stay in the state system, while others go to work in the private sector," Zareh Sinanyan said. Then some of the participants of the program and their managers made speeches.

iGorts provides an opportunity for diaspora professionals to work in public administration in Armenia and contribute to the development of the country.
