The new UK Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has accepted the invitation of Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy to visit his country.
In her first telephonic conversation with a foreign leader as the UK premier, Truss reaffirmed her country's unwavering support for freedom and democracy in Ukraine.
The new British PM added that she is looking forward to working with President Zelenskyy in the coming weeks and months and is happy to accept his invitation to visit Ukraine soon.
Truss had visited the Ukrainian capital Kyiv in February when she was the UK foreign secretary.
