Even if Armenia theoretically falls under sanctions, Russia will not benefit from it, said Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said this at the plenary session of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok.

"That is why we propose to cooperate, to use opportunities competently, to notice threats that concern not only Armenia but also the EAEU in order to neutralize them," Pashinyan said.

According to him, many Russians have relocated to Armenia because they need to get salaries from foreign companies, but now there are bank gaps. He hopes Russia treats relocation as movement within the EEU, which was created for this purpose.

Pashinyan noted that in January-February Armenia was already seeing high economic growth, in March there was some concern, and flows to Armenia from Russia have bailed out and are bailing out: "We are in constant contact with our Russian colleagues, there are spheres that can be developed together, a good dynamics appeared, the interest of Russian regions to work together with Armenian colleagues."

Prime Minister noted that Russian citizens are very welcome in Armenia. According to him, he has mentioned more than once in discussions with his Russian colleagues that the probability of repatriation to Russia from Armenia is several times higher than from France or USA.

He reminded that Russia has been Armenia's biggest trade and economic partner for 30 years, but now Yerevan sees the opportunity to change the quality of economic cooperation.
