Iran's response to any provocative actions by Israel, its elements and supporting regimes will be decisive, Major General Gholam Ali Rashid, commander of the IRGC headquarters in Hatam al-Anbiya, said, Tasnim reported.

According to him, his headquarters considers Israel the number one threat to Iran's national security.

Commenting on statements by Israeli officials who have claimed responsibility for threatening military action against Iran's nuclear facilities as well as national interests and security, the general said that such Israeli threats are made in coordination with and under the auspices of the United States. He also warned that the Iranian Armed Forces would give a strong and proportionate response to the threats, reminding all elements, mercenaries and governments that cooperate with Israel that they would have to pay the price.

As Armenian News-NEWS.am previously reported, Israeli Prime Minister Yair Lapid said the day before that Israel has complete freedom to act as it sees fit to prevent the possibility of Iran becoming a nuclear threat.
