The criminal case including former Police chief Vladimir Gasaparyan has been transferred from the Yerevan court of general jurisdiction to the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia.
Gasaparyan is charged with abusing his official powers, embezzling large amounts of money, thereby causing serious consequences.
The case was brought to court in 2020. During this period, fourteen court sessions were set, but six of them, according to the “DataLex” Judicial Information System of Armenia, were not held for various reasons.
A signature bond not to leave Armenia has been imposed as the preventive measure for all the defendants in this criminal case.
