Turkey's exports to Russia jumped to a one-month high in August. Sales of Turkish goods and raw materials to Russia jumped 87.2% year-on-year to $738.5 million last month, Anadolu reported citing the Turkish Exporters' Assembly (TIM). This compared to a 13.1 percent increase in Turkey's total exports, the report said.

Russia was the sixth most important destination for Turkish exports after Germany, the U.S., Britain, Iraq and Italy.

Among industrial groups, chemicals were the most exported products to Russia, followed by machinery and accessories, automotive products, fresh fruits and vegetables, and textiles and raw materials.
