President Volodymyr Zelenskyy of Ukraine held a meeting with Haluk Bayraktar, CEO of Turkey's Baykar Makina company, reports the press service of the Ukrainian president.

“The meeting participants focused on the further cooperation of Ukraine with the company to strengthen the defense capabilities of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The parties also discussed the details of the construction of the Baykar plant in Ukraine and the production of new goods using Ukrainian parts,” the press service added.

Also, Zelenskyy presented Bayraktar with the “Order of Merit, first class.”

"Everyone in Ukraine knows what Bayraktar is, knows your company. Many thanks to you, President Erdogan for your support and the support of the citizens of Turkey in this war against Russian aggression," the Ukrainian president said, addressing the CEO of Baykar Makina, which manufactures the Bayraktar combat drones.
