Intense exchange of fire on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues, Armenia's defense ministry reported.

“Intense exchange of fire, which began as a result of a large-scale provocation of the Azerbaijani side, continues. The Armenian Armed Forces are giving a proportionate response," the statement reads.

The Armenian Defense Ministry will periodically report on the situation.

Azerbaijan opened fire on Tuesday night near Armenian borders. The reports have been confirmed by the Armenian defense ministry spokesperson who said that the adversary also used UAVS.
