US Congressman Adam Schiff called on the US to stop any assistance to Azerbaijan against the background of the aggravation of the situation on the border with Armenia.

 Azerbaijan has reportedly shelled the homes of innocent civilians in Artsakh and is now attacking the Armenian border, he said.

This is a blatant violation of the ceasefire regime and a direct encroachment on the sovereignty of Armenia, he added noting that the United States must stop all assistance to Azerbaijan - immediately and forever.
