Two women suffered as a result of the artillery shelling of the village of Sotq by Azerbaijani Armed Forces.

The women were taken to the Martuni Medical Center with shrapnel wounds. The condition of the victims is satisfactory, director of the center Andranik Harutyunyan told NEWS.am.

According to preliminary data, the women are 83 and 24 years old.

Azerbaijan opened fire Tuesday night near the Armenian borders. The reports have been confirmed by the Armenian defense ministry spokesperson who said that the adversary also used UAVs. The Armenian side has victims and wounded. The death toll is being clarified.

The defense ministry said it will regularly issue official reports on the situation developments.
