Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan held a phone talk with Russian Defense Minister, Army General Sergei Shoigu, the Armenian Defense Ministry reported.
"The Armenian defense minister presented to his Russian counterpart the situation created as a result of large-scale Azerbaijani aggression against the sovereign territory of the Republic of Armenia.
Suren Papikyan and Sergei Shoigu agreed to take necessary steps to stabilize the situation," the report said.
