The Office of International Legal Matters of the Government of Armenia will send a petition to the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) with a request to apply an interim measure against the military aggression by Azerbaijan. This information was confirmed by Hasmik Samvelyan, spokesperson of the representative of aforesaid office, Yeghishe Kirakosyan, in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am.

"The petition will be sent in the next few hours. In addition, we will send a letter to the UN International Court of Justice regarding Azerbaijan's aggression," said Samvelyan.

As reported earlier, Azerbaijan opened fire early hours on Tuesday near the Armenian borders. The reports have been confirmed by the Armenian defense ministry spokesperson, who said that the adversary used UAVs, too.

As of 2pm Tuesday, the situation in some parts of the Armenian-Azerbaijani border continues to be extremely tense. Despite the considerable reduction in the intensity of the shelling, the adversary continues its positional advancement attempts—particularly in the direction of Nerkin Hand, Verin Shorzha, Artanish, and Sotk villages. The initial death toll as a result of the large-scale military aggression of Azerbaijan is 49.
