Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone talk with EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Josep Borrell, the Armenian Foreign Ministry press service reported.

Minister Mirzoyan presented to High Representative Borrell the situation resulting from Azerbaijan's large-scale aggression against Armenia's sovereign territory at midnight on September 13. It was stressed that the Azerbaijani aggression targeted not only military positions, but also civilian infrastructure.

Ararat Mirzoyan noted the need for a targeted and appropriate international response to Azerbaijan's actions.
