Since yesterday, videos have been circulating on the internet, where Armenian prisoners of war (POWs) can be seen, who are actually under the control of Azerbaijani servicemen. This is noted in a statement Wednesday by the Government of Armenia Representative on International Legal Matters.

"In addition to our yesterday's request to apply interim measures against Azerbaijan, we have submitted to the European Court an additional request to apply an interim measure for the protection of the fundamental rights of the [Armenian] servicemen seen in the videos," Yeghishe Kirakosyan's statement also reads.

Earlier, Kirakosyan informed that on Tuesday, Armenia petitioned to the ECHR, requesting the application of interim measures against Azerbaijan.

The submitted petitions refer to Azerbaijan’s targeting of civilian settlements in Armenia, as well as the protection of the fundamental rights of the Armenian civilian population and POWs.
