CSTO heads of member states started to implement the agreement on September 13 at the extraordinary session of the Collective Security Council to send the CSTO mission to Armenia to assess the situation on the Armenian-Azerbaijani border and prepare a detailed report to the heads of the member states.

The advance team of the mission headed by Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, the CSTO chief of staff, will fly to Armenia on September 15.

CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, the head of the mission of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, is planning to leave for Armenia next week.

The mission will include representatives from CSTO member states, members of the CSTO secretariat and the CSTO United Headquarters.
