Armenia's expectations from the CSTO are higher, secretary of Armenia's Security Council Armen Grigoryan told Public Television Company, answering a question whether he was satisfied with the CSTO's response.

"Yesterday during the CSTO meeting decisions were made, we hope that these decisions will become a reality as soon as possible," Armen Grigoryan noted.

Asked about the prospects of CSTO military support, the Secretary of the Security Council said, "Armenia's expectations are formulated exactly that way. Armenia expects the CSTO to help us and provide sufficient military and political aid to withdraw Azerbaijani troops from the sovereign territory of Armenia. That is, the primary task is to do that."

As for Kazakhstan's statements that the border between Armenia and Azerbaijan has not been clarified, Armen Grigoryan said: "Naturally, there is a border between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

I think our partners should know that under the agreement concluded in the capital of their country, Almaty, the countries of the former Soviet Union recognized each other's borders, that is, the administrative borders that existed on the territory of the USSR between the allied states, transformed them as borders between states. Secondly, Azerbaijan is also bombing populated areas, and not seeing this means having at least vision problems." Referring to calls to withdraw from the CSTO because the structure does not support Armenia, the Security Council secretary said: "We had a meeting yesterday to discuss CSTO assistance, and we will continue to work in that direction."
