The armed confrontation taking place between Armenia and Azerbaijan is unacceptable, Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili at a press conference on Wednesday after talks with German Chancellor Olaf Scholz in Berlin, TASS reports.
"Armenia and Azerbaijan are friendly countries for us. What is happening between these countries is unacceptable for us and we are watching these events with concern," said Garibashvili.
The head of the Georgian government also added that all those actions that would change the security environment for the worse must be a cause of common sadness and anxiety. He expressed hope that the sides would return to the negotiating table in the near future and the conflict would be resolved.
