There are currently no documents to be signed between Armenia and Azerbaijan, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Armenian Prime Minister Taron Chakhoyan wrote on his Facebook.

"During his speech in the National Assembly, the Prime Minister clearly said:

 "I have taken the responsibility to make difficult decisions in the name of peace, but a difficult decision does not mean a decision against the state interests of Armenia. We are willing to sign a paper in the result of which many people will criticize us, curse us, call us traitors, the people may even decide to remove us from power, and we will be grateful if in the result Armenia gets lasting peace and security with an area of 29 800 square kilometers".

I bring it to your attention that there is currently no document and no document is being discussed for signing.

Some people, by insidiously and maliciously distorting the Prime Minister's words, are trying to create an anti-government wave in the current situation, while the Prime Minister stressed in his speech that he is not going to sign a document that would conflict with the state interests of Armenia.

And in case of Azerbaijani aggression on Armenia's borders and in the current situation in the country, manipulating the Prime Minister's words to seize power is nothing else but anti-state meanness," he wrote.

Chairman of the ruling Citizen Agreement faction of the National Assembly Hayk Konjoryan also touched upon the issue, assuring that no such document exists.

The Prime Minister said today in the National Assembly:

Armenia's territorial integrity and sovereignty is a red line, and we will do everything to preserve the territorial integrity of our country.

We are ready to sign a document that will ensure long-term peace and security of Armenia. Now the most important thing.

There is NO such BOOK at this time, nothing will be signed.

We are talking about any hypothetical solution in the future that would express our state interests. That's it, NOTHING, no documentation.

I suggest that you watch the Prime Minister's speech carefully and do not fall for conspiracy theories."
