Artsakh President Arayik Harutyunyan made a Facebook post that reads:

"Dear Compatriots,

Nothing can divert us from the path we have chosen - international recognition of the independence of the Republic of Artsakh on the primary and indisputable basis of the Artsakh people's right for self-determination.

Artsakh can't and shouldn't be a part of Azerbaijan because, firstly, the people of Artsakh are deciding their own fate in their own land and, secondly, we're not going to let ourselves be subjected to genocide and deprivation of Homeland.

We have repeatedly stated and now confirm that all those documents, which may recognize Artsakh as a part of Azerbaijan, are unacceptable for us. On the other hand, we must all be aware that in this difficult situation our path of struggle is long and full of challenges, but I am confident that with the national efforts we will achieve our goals in the end."
