The newly appointed Ambassador of Armenia to Georgia, Ashot Smbatyan, handed his credentials to President Salome Zourabichvili of Georgia, the Embassy of Armenia in Georgia informs Armenian News-NEWS.am.

During the private conversation following the ceremony, the parties exchanged views on the current active cooperation between Armenia and Georgia.

Also, the Ambassador of Armenia made a brief reference to the present-day situation as a result of Azerbaijan's military aggression against Armenia.
