The Kremlin has expressed hope that the CSTO group will arrive at the Armenian-Azerbaijani border this week; this topic will be discussed at the meeting of the presidents of Russia and Azerbaijan. Dmitry Peskov, the Russian presidential press secretary, told reporters about this Thursday, reports RIA Novosti.
Nonetheless, we hope that the inspection team, led by [CSTO Secretary General Stanislav] Zas, will arrive at the border this week, in order to then prepare its report for the heads of the CSTO states. And tomorrow there will be a meeting with [Azerbaijani] President [Ilham] Aliyev, where, of course, this will also be at the top of the agenda," Peskov told reporters.
